A Full Service Employment Law Firm

The firm’s primary focus is to set right the employment relationship for both the employee and employer. Toward that end, we provide a full array of legal services from hiring to termination.

  • Employment and Severance Agreements

As part of our full service firm, we review employment agreements and will create more favorable severance agreements for employees when they leave their employment.

  • Disability Accommodations and Family Medical Leaves

Throughout employment, an employee may encounter medical and disability issues or have a family member that develops medical and disability issues that will require the employee to modify their work or work schedule and may make them eligible for Family Medical Leave.  The firm’s primary commitment is to insure that disabled employees remain employed. Toward that end, we help employees negotiate the most effective job modifications and reasonable accommodations for their disability so that they can continue to perform their work.  We will also assist those persons who may need to take a Family Medical Leave for their own serious health conditions, including cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other serious health conditions, or the serious health conditions of their family members.

  • Complaints of Harassment, Discrimination or Retaliation

The Law Office will prepare the internal complaints required to be filed by the employee to bring an end to harassment, discrimination or retaliation. This complaint process places the burden on the employer to investigate the complaints and take the appropriate corrective action required to prevent further acts of harassment,  discrimination, or retaliation from occurring.

The Law Office will also prepare and file complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, etc., with the administrative agencies that investigate and enforce the anti-discrimination laws, including the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the Dept. of Industrial Relations (DIR) for violations of the Labor Code and whistleblower claims.

  • Litigation Services

We also provide a full array of litigation services to employees who believe they have been wrongfully terminated; experienced discrimination, harassment or retaliation; had their disability or Family Medical Leave rights violated; have had their medical or employee privacy rights violated; or have been disciplined or terminated for having engaged in whistle blowing activities.
